Following a visit from Seeing Eye Dogs at the end of June, a small group of Community Crusaders were invited to spend a day volunteering in the kennels at the Seeing Eye Dogs Head Office in Kensington.

During the past two weeks the Mt Ridley Campus Sports Centre has been transformed into a grotto of fantastical under-sea delights with performances of the three Primary productions.

We are thrilled to celebrate our Secondary Visual Arts students whose Art and Visual Communication Design work has been selected for inclusion in the 2024 Independent Schools Victoria 2024 exhibition.

The Senior Mixed Hockey Team from Hume Anglican Grammar has once again emerged as the State Champions, securing their third consecutive victory in the School Sport Victoria State Championships! 

Earlier this month, four student representatives from our Mt Ridley and Donnybrook Secondary campuses were selected to present at the Anglican Schools Australia Conference at Pullman on the Park.

All three of our campuses enjoyed STEM week recently, with a range of activities offered during and after school that focused on thinking and problem solving.  

As the School’s development continues, there are several exciting construction projects underway across each campus.

The Year 5 students from Donnybrook recently participated in an exciting adventure to Cave Hill, an outdoor adventure camp set in bush lands.

School libraries are essential to our educational community. 

Last Friday the Year 4 and 5 students collaborated to create a Mini Olympics for the Prep and Year 1 students at our Kalkallo campus.

The 6th Annual Victorian Law Foundation award night, co-hosted by the Victorian Law Foundation and Hume City Council, took place on Friday, 26 July at Owen Dixon Legal Chambers. 

On Thursday, 25 July, 24 student representatives from our Donnybrook, Kalkallo and Mt Ridley campuses, both Primary and Secondary, along with Reverend Sheela, Reverend Jonathan, Mrs Marisa Jarvis and Principal, Mr Bill Sweeney, attended the Anglican Schools Service at St Paul’s Cathedral in the city.

The annual Premier’s VCE Awards celebrates the outstanding academic achievements of students in the state. This year, a total of 310 students were honoured at the prestigious award ceremony held on Wednesday, 17 July.

In a recent assembly at our Donnybrook Primary campus, the Semester 2 Senators were proudly presented with their badges, marking a significant moment of recognition and responsibility for our young leaders. The theme of the assembly revolved around the concept - leadership.

In 2023, Hume Anglican Grammar launched our Vision for Teaching and Learning. Five guiding principles, created with our community, to guide our work with students of all ages.

During the recent term break, Nikhil, a Year 11 student and the Vice-captain of Craigie House, embarked on an exciting journey by attending the International Future Leaders Academy.
