We are proud to celebrate the work of Brianna Metagesha, whose feature article 'Growing Information Fluency in the Early Years' has recently been published the latest issue of the School Libraries of Victoria magazine.
Brianna explores the important role school libraries play in developing curiosity, critical thinking and confidence in young learners. Her article highlights how storytelling, inquiry, play and discussion can help students build the foundations of information fluency from the earliest years of schooling.
The piece also showcases the innovative and thoughtful learning experiences taking place within our primary school library program, where students are encouraged to ask questions, make connection and engage deeply with both fiction and non-fiction texts.
Congratulations to Brianna on this contribution and for sharing the impactful work happening at Hume Anglican Grammar with a wider audience.
