We are back!

To see more students returning to School was a joy. The carpark was full again, dropping students off, and to walk around the buildings and once again hear the noise of teaching and learning was heart-warming. The day when all students are back onsite at once is not far away.

The work around the campus has continued. The 5/6 Centre has bricks being added and many other developments on the way to the finishing the building ready for 2022.

The new sandpit for Years 3-6 is nearly finished. That too will be very exciting to see students not only playing in there but learning as well.

Over the last couple of weeks many of our students sat the ICAS exams. This was a chance to sit an exam like many other students all over Australia. This week, students took home their NAPLAN results, giving students and their families in Years 3 and 5 a snapshot in Literacy and Mathematics.

As we get the amazing news we are allowed to go on camp for Years 3 and 5, I look forward to the opportunity to spend time with these students and staff in a different environment.

We are also excited we can now have our Preps for 2022 onsite for their orientation. While it has been great to see our future Preps online, we look forward to seeing them in person.

At Hume Anglican Grammar we value the building of community and the chance to connect. As we continue to be able to hold events such as camps and excursions we look forward to once again welcoming our parents back onsite and back into our classrooms and buildings.
