It's the Final Week of Term 1!
It seems hard to believe that ten weeks ago we did not know each other. But across these weeks we have developed into a lovely new community. The students know and care for each other. The staff know and care for each other and their students. Our parents know us and we know them. We have developed a sense of belonging.
Much learning has occurred across this term. Our Prep students understand what is required of them and how to do school. Our Year 1 students have learned how to write recounts. Our Year 2 children have investigated the effects of mixing different materials together. Many texts have been read across the year levels. Italian words and phrases have become familiar, new songs learned and throwing and catching practised. I am looking forward to more learning next term.
