On Tuesday afternoon I had great pleasure in sharing wonderful news with the School community. In 2023, Hume Anglican Grammar will open its third campus in the suburb of Kalkallo, within the residential estate of Cloverton. At that time, I was unable to pass on its actual whereabouts, as we had to align any formal announcement with the developer.

This morning, I along with a number of school staff came together with dignitaries from Stockland, the residential developer of Cloverton, at a special launch held onsite of the future campus. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate this notable achievement, and very encouraging to see that already there has been keen interest in our new campus.

A little bit more about the Cloverton residential estate, and why we elected to establish our new campus in this location.

• Position between the existing campuses allows easier transfer of students into secondary school upon completion of Year 6.
• Immediately adjacent to public ovals and recreational space.
• Close to the Donnybrook train station and Donnybrook Road.
• Central location within the estate and in the future its proximity to the Kalkallo train station, Outer Ring Road, Civic centre, Hospital, TAFE and industrial/commercial precinct.
• A willing developer in Stockland, who are already well established in the area with several developments, including Highlands in Craigieburn.
• Growing need in the area for an affordable independent education due to increasing population and more families with school aged children.
• It is already a significantly established community having commenced development over 8 years ago comprising some thousands of residents.
• Site ready to occupy.
• Cloverton is the largest master planned communities in Victoria with over 11,000 homes planned, and ultimately over 30,000 residents
