Members of Hume Anglican Grammar and residential developers Stockland would come together on Thursday, 24 August to announce the establishment of our new Prep to Year 6 Campus located in Kalkallo's 'Cloverton' estate.
The formal announcement - made on-site at the 3-hectare location situated on Goodman Avenue, Kalkallo - marks another ground-breaking development for our great school with the first stage of the construction is due for completion by the end of 2022 with the campus set to officially open its doors for the beginning of the 2023 school year.
Bill Sweeney, Principal, said: “At Hume Anglican Grammar we pride ourselves on providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow. We employ expert teachers, offer students a contemporary learning environment and are bound by our strong ethos of student wellbeing. This third campus will offer greater opportunity to members of our community who wish for a Hume education.
“Students from our primary school have the added benefit of continuing their Kalkallo education journey at one of our two secondary schools. We are excited to open our latest campus in a community that strongly values its residents’ wellbeing and are looking forward to growing with this thriving community,” Mr Sweeney said.
Meanwhile, Stockland Project Director, James Westh, would reflect on the company's history and his excitement in embarking on this new journey: “For over 65 years, Stockland communities have been designed to offer well connected, thriving and sustainable neighbourhoods for their current and future residents. Hume Anglican Grammar is a welcome addition to the Stockland Cloverton community and we look forward to its opening next year.”
Stockland is one of Australia’s largest diversified property groups and Stockland Cloverton is set to be one of Victoria’s largest masterplanned community within Melbourne’s northern growth corridor.
