Visual Arts Unleashed: The Power of Active Agents is an art exhibition that showcases the dynamic creations of Secondary Visual Arts students from Years 7 to Year 12.

The exhibition explores Art, Media, and Visual Communication Design, celebrating the students' active role as agents in their making process. Each work reflects the unique perspective of the students, who wield art and design as tools for expression, inquiry, and change. As viewers engage with these works, they are invited to contemplate the students' role as active agents in shaping their world, inspiring dialogue, and sparking new ideas through the visual medium.

This exhibition includes over 160 works using a range of traditional mediums and new technologies. Of special note is the ceramics work by Year 7 Visual Arts students from both our Donnybrook and Mt Ridley campuses. These works reflect the collaboration between Secondary campuses, use of a new School kiln, and the imagination of our students.

The art show will take place on Thursday, 22 February at Hume Anglican Grammar's Mt Ridley campus Visual Arts Centre (Building 8), located at 100 Mt Ridley Road, Mickleham. The event will be held from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, with formalities to begin at 6:30pm. We invite everyone to come along and appreciate the art created by our talented students.
