I am privileged to have worked with our gifted Year 8 Visual Arts students, Baljit Matharu, Jasmine Singh, Jianna Godino, Pragya Sapra, Keesha Jayasekara and Nathan Nair. The students, led by teacher Sarah Lang, were asked to create an individual avatar. In addition to the individual avatar, our shining curators set the exhibition title, blurb and criteria for selected works. They digitally framed the works and curated the exhibition whilst working both at school and remotely. This resulting in an exhibition - World of Avatars.
This gallery showcased their advanced skills in Visual Arts. Furthermore, a number of these skills attributed to VCE once again highlighted their immense talent, diligence and high achieving ability.
It was an absolute pleasure to have worked with such talent and l look forward to many more sessions with the Arts Department and their Gifted and Talented students.
