Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.

- In 2023, the School will open its third campus in Kalkallo, as a Primary (P-6) school. In 2022, the first classes for the new campus have commenced and are being accommodated at the Donnybrook campus, to then move to the new site in 2023.

Secondary School Administration Officer
Hume Grammar is now seeks applications for a Secondary School Administration Officer. This position is full-time, ongoing - working 5 days per week; 8:00am-4:06pm based at our Mt Ridley campus in Mickleham. This position receives 5 weeks paid annual leave and takes 2 weeks unpaid. It is anticipated the successful candidate will commence on Monday, 23 January 2023.
Due to significant growth, in this newly created position the Administration Officer will play a pivotal role in the organisation and smooth running of the Secondary school administration office. Upholding the highest standards of customer service, the Administration Officer displays also maintains a high level of integrity and trust. They will represent the School with self-confidence and sensitivity and embody dignity and formality. They will act as consummate ambassadors when dealing with visitors and members of the school community and are outstanding hosts.
Responsibilities and Duties will include:
- Supporting Year Level Coordinators, Heads of Faculty, Careers Counsellors with administrative tasks, including assistance coordinating incursions/excursions, camps, locker allocations and communication with students, staff, and parents
- Assisting with the organisation of Secondary events
- Managing Secondary student ID cards, stationery, and other office consumables
- Providing administrative support to the Assistant Principal – Secondary
- Attending and recording notes in briefings for distribution to staff
- Cover for Secondary School Assistant during peak times, lunch and periods of absence
- Attending Secondary Administration Staff meetings and contributing to the creation of administrative calendars, timelines, and process documents
- Contributing to the presentation and maintenance of a neat and tidy administration environment
- Applying the School’s Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principles and ensuring measures are employed to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality

Salary:
The Hume Anglican Grammar Agreement 2019 classifies this position as General Staff Level 3. The position
is entitled to 5 weeks paid annual leave and takes two weeks unpaid. Superannuation is in addition to the salary quoted below. The salary sub-level offered, will be determined by the successful candidates’ relevant qualifications and years of experience.
