Why did you choose Hume Anglican Grammar for your children?

As someone who grew up in Adelaide, my earliest Church experiences were of the Anglican Church. It’s where my parents were married, and later where I was baptised and later confirmed. Paired with this was the fact that the Anglican School system in Adelaide has always been recognised for their excellence, so when I moved I moved to Mickleham and drove past the Mt Ridley campus every day, I was motivated to offer my daughters such an education.

What has been the fondest memory of your time here at our school?

Volunteering at the Lion King Jr performance was a key moment. I would also add that the routine of seeing Madeleine so happy every morning as I walk her into the campus is an experience that is irreplaceable for me.

What do you value most about education?

An education should teach the basics of reading, writing and mathematics of course, but more importantly, a school has a role in teaching children to be the best people they can be, and instil the confidence that they need in our increasingly competitive world.

I couldn’t live without my family; they are everything to me.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I have made a home in five separate countries - across the UK, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe.
