Primary Students Take Over the STEM Centre - Mt Ridley

Students in Years 2, 3, 4 and 6 are currently engaged in science units and are exploring a variety of concepts. To compliment the work they are doing in class, students participated in a range of engaging, hands-on experiments and activities in the STEM Centre.

Upon arrival, students were given a safety briefing and an introduction to the science labs before putting on lab coats and safety goggles. Throughout their time in the lab, students created sticky gloop, used microscopes and created structures to test stability in an event of an earthquake.

This was a fantastic experience had by all. Students (and teachers) are looking forward to the next extended opportunity to use the STEM Centre.
