During Remote Teaching and Learning (RTL), the Donnybrook Prep students have been learning about so many different new and exciting things! To help us all through this challenging time, we have been practising the art of gratitude and the reasons why our school is special.

In Numeracy, we have been learning about ordinal numbers, number lines and positional language. The students worked hard to place numbers in the correct order and enjoyed creating number lines starting from different numbers.

In Literacy, the Prep students are practising a new ‘Word of the Week’. During RTL our word was TRAY, and the students loved making salt trays at home to write their words in.

We have also been learning about healthy and unhealthy foods. The students showed a great understanding of healthy foods we should eat often and the foods we should only eat sometimes.

During our time at home, the Prep students and teachers had a wonderful time talking to each other on Zoom. It was really great to see the students engaging with their friends and sharing their stories with each other.

We are so proud of our Prep students and we are very excited to see their happy faces back at school!
