The Northern Leadership Award for Social Justice is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice, possess leadership qualities, and actively participate in their community.

Harriet is an exceptional student who embodies all of these qualities. She has shown remarkable dedication and passion for social justice in numerous ways, including organising bake sale fundraisers for The Salvation Army Thrift Shop Craigieburn, Second Chance Animal Rescue, Asylum Seekers Resource Centre and the Jeans for Genes campaign. Harriet also volunteers four hours of her time each Saturday at her local Salvos store. What's even more impressive is that Harriet's strong leadership qualities and initiative have persisted while she undertakes senior studies and achieves academic success.
