Moving to the Beat of the Drum - Mt Ridley

The last 2 weeks of school have indeed been busy with students from all year levels participating in a range of exciting activities and events. Our Cultural Diversity week was a huge success with students firstly dressing in traditional cultural dress, followed by a special assembly and some wonderful cultural experiences throughout the week. We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to Signorina Crea and Signorina Cavalieros for the organisation and planning of the week. We are very proud of our cultural diversity at Hume and this provided us with the perfect opportunity to celebrate and showcase the different cultures that make up our wonderful community.

On Thursday, 17 March our Mt Ridley campus hosted a Twilight Discovery Tour. To ensure the evening was more authentic, we took this opportunity to showcase our cocurricular clubs and invited students to attend and participate in their chosen club. The evening was a huge success and once again, our students represented our school with enthusiasm. A special thanks to our Year 5 and 6 student leaders who supported parent tour groups and confidently answered questions and spoke about our school.

The range of opportunities our students have ensures that the whole child is being nurtured and challenged. Learning and being part of a community extends beyond the classroom and it is often these experiences that have the biggest impact. We encourage all of our students to make the most of the opportunities and experiences available and fully immerse themselves in life at Hume Anglican Grammar.
