SchoolTV: A New Online Wellbeing Resource for Parents

We are thrilled to announce Hume Anglican Grammar’s new partnership with the online wellbeing platform, SchoolTV: http://humegrammar.vic.schooltv.me.

Student wellbeing is at the core of everything we do at Hume. It is the School’s fundamental belief that young people who are physically, emotionally and mentally well are primed to engage with, and thrive in, our learning community. Our School values the effort that our families put into their children, and we would like to assist by providing a streamlined resource for parents to access wellbeing-related information relevant to children of all ages.

There is an abundance of wellbeing information available online. However, sometimes it is difficult to know where to find the most trustworthy information sources. SchoolTV provides research-based content on a wide range of wellbeing topics, delivered via a series of short videos with leading youth health specialist, Dr Michael Carr-Gregg. The School aims to use elements of SchoolTV content in its wellbeing programs in 2022; however, it is equally important that parents equip themselves to support their children as they navigate the world around them and develop skills in self-awareness, self-management and resilience.

To introduce you to this outstanding resource, we invite you view the latest Special Report:

Instilling Hope in Uncertain Times. This timely report showcases how we can help young people to be hopeful, even in times of uncertainty.

SchoolTV can be found under the ‘Student Wellbeing’ menu on the School’s website and I encourage you to explore all that it offers as you journey with the growth and development of your child.
