This term has been a very exciting term for Prep students. We recently celebrated 100 days of learning and, we are 100 days smarter. Prep students now have a great amount of confidence to write their very own stories, including characters, a setting, a problem and a solution. And as a part of our Book Week celebrations, we did just that! Prep students became authors and used some descriptive language. They even drew their own pictures and became illustrators.

Each student completed a Narrative Planner of what their story was going to be about. They then wrote a draft and went through the editing process with a supervisor. Finally, the students published their stories, which included a front cover, illustrations, and their best handwriting. We are incredibly proud of our students and how far they have progressed in such a short amount of time.
