Rehearsals are well underway for our Secondary Production of Hairspray. Our dedicated and talented cast of students and team of teachers have been working hard on Mondays and Thursdays after school and are about to commence Sunday rehearsals.
During the holidays, the students had the opportunity to work with professional actor Genevieve Nieve, who has appeared in various television shows and has played Penny Pingleton in a professional production of Hairspray. The students gained so much from working with Genevieve, who provided creative and engaging workshops in accent and character development. We are very fortunate to have worked with her!
Hairspray will be performed at Plenty Ranges Performing Arts and Convention Centre on Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 August.
