What do you like most about working at Hume Anglican Grammar?

The Staff and the Students. I feel that throughout the entire school there is a sense of community and support. it’s a joy to come to work every day.

Can you tell us about a project you are currently working on?

I am currently working on an inquiry project for the Victorian Institute of Teaching. I am inquiring into how to build student’s inferential comprehension during reading. This project allows me to collaborate with other teachers and complete professional learning in this area which I am enjoy immensely.

Who has had the biggest impact on your career and why?

My wife. She encouraged me to go back to University and complete my Diploma in Education. I am beyond grateful that she supported me and my studies as now I get to do what I love every day.

Fast Four:

If your friends could describe you in one word, what would it be?

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
I don’t think I could do just one, I’ll condense it down the best I can. Luke Hodge, Brad Pitt, Paul Gallen, and Ken Griffey Jr.

One thing you couldn’t live without?
Besides my wife and my dogs, I couldn’t live without Baseball.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
