Hume Anglican Grammar - Makers United Year 7C Sohan 'Pirates of the Caribbean'
In the last week of Term One, with remote learning looming, the Arts and Technology department launched a competition on Simon called Makers United for Secondary students. With students experiencing school holidays at home, the idea was to create an online space for students to share new creations of their own choice and stay ‘making and united’. We congratulate all students who contributed to Round One.
Year 7 student Sohan entered his performance of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

Hume Anglican Grammar - Year 9 Visual Arts
Working remotely, has not stopped Year 9 Visual Arts from having an excursion to the National Gallery of Victoria. Our students participated in a Virtual Excursion with an NGV educator and Ms Lang. Students were guided through a virtual exhibition called ‘Marking Time’. Our students contributed impressively to the discussion and took away new insights on indigenous artworks. We are looking forward to their completed skateboard artworks exploring ‘Colour and Emotion’ later in Term 2. Jadye discusses her work in in the video.

Here is a video of Year 9 VCD student Michael comparing two Mr Potato Head designs. We are looking forward to their toy designs later in Term 2.
