Embracing meta-cognition and the skills to harness effective learning, our newly appointed Director of Teaching and Learning - Mr Kirk Thomas will help to drive a shift in pedagogy at Hume Anglican Grammar, supporting our students to be meta-cognitive and achieve exceptional results across all areas of the curriculum.

An experienced educator, Kirk joins our school in 2022 with a Master's Degree in Arts (majoring in English Literature) and a keen passion for writing poetry. 

His breadth of educational experience, will help ensure the learner remains at the centre of all teaching and learning endeavours and we look forward to his contributions as part of our Senior Leadership Team moving forward.
