Students in Years 5 and 6 had the opportunity to participate in a Dance Workshop with one of our Secondary Dance Teachers, Ms Amy Besic. As part of this session, they were able to explore and learn about Jazz Dance technique and choreography.
Students were shown technical skills including Jazz pirouettes, kicks and hitch kicks refining their execution of these skills. The workshop finished with a Jazz Dance routine which students performed, incorporating the technical skills learned.
It was a fun workshop for all including Ms Besic who enjoyed working with the Primary students. Thank you to Ms Besic for creating this wonderful opportunity for our Year 5 and 6 students.
