A Colourful End to 2022 - Mt Ridley

The final 3 days in the Primary school have been extremely busy with 3 significant events held to finish another wonderful year in the Primary school. It started on Monday with the Primary Presentation Ceremony. Holding this event in the Sports Centre was a game changer. The grandstand seating was full as parents and family attended to acknowledge award recipients and our graduating Year 6 students. A special mention to our Prep students who sat patiently throughout the ceremony and joined in the proceedings when prompted. A great effort!

Tuesday evening saw another terrific community event with our Primary Community Carols. An enormous attendance by parents and family enjoyed Christmas carols and performances from each year level. It was a very uplifting occasion that was enjoyed by all.

The last day of the year hosted our final event, the Colour Run. Students thoroughly enjoyed navigating the obstacle course as they were splashed with colour. Thank you to the Parents and Friends Association (PFA) for planning and organising this fundraising event. Money raised will be used by the PFA to support school wide initiatives and projects.

After two years in the wilderness with COVID it was such a rewarding year having things return to normal. We thank all for your ongoing support and look forward to another year full of positive experiences and growth in 2023.

Best wishes.

Luke Friend - Assistant Principal - Primary (Mt Ridley)
