The Parents and Friends Association Inc comprises a group of dedicated and hardworking friends of the School who volunteer their time to provide support to our programs and raise money through special events held across the year.

The PFA are well known for the Term 1 and 4 Friday Zooper Dooper Days, and most recently were able to run the Mother’s Day stall. They also sell lunch wallets and organise the School Paver Program. In the past they have also ran some major events such as the Colour Explosion, School Discos and Film Nights. The PFA also sponsor the Citizenship Awards presented to a student in each school on Founders’ Day. This year it was presented to Sukhmanjeet Kaur (Year 5 - Donnybrook), Hamza Javed (Year 6 - Mt Ridley) and Kiara Jarvis (Year 12 - Mt Ridley).

All money raised goes back into the School and there are many wonderful examples of how their contributions have gone to the benefit of students. The covered steps at Mt Ridley are a most recent example of how the funds have been put to good use (below).

These past years, the PFA has been led by an executive consisting of:

Lauren Falkiner - President

Paul De Luca - Vice-president

Nicole Hodgson - Treasurer

Jonie Walker - Secretary

This team have done an admirable job and have served the association well. It is also worth mentioning there are many other general members and whilst have no official title, attend meetings, support the executive and regularly assist in many different PFA activities. Further, there are many dozens of parents who assist on an ad hoc basis and their contribution is also extremely valuable, and indeed essential.

The association are holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 1 June at 6:30pm. Parents and friends of the School are warmly welcome, and you are encouraged to consider a role of where you may support the PFA. Please look out for further information.
