Technology Teacher

A passionate, committed educator is sought to fill this position and join our team in a supportive and professional environment teaching Years 7-11. This position is an FTE of 0.6 -1.0, fixed-term Term 4, 2018 with an immediate start.

An ability to teach Systems Engineering and or Materials Technology is required.

Teachers share a significant responsibility in preparing young people to lead successful and productive lives. The quality of the teacher is the single-most important in-school factor influencing student achievement. Teachers can be a source of inspiration and, equally importantly, provide a dependable and consistent influence on young people as they grow and flourish, and ultimately make choices about their future. All Teachers are expected to actively engage in the co-curricular and pastoral care program.

Qualifications and all relevant details, as well as the details of three referees are required with all applications. Referees may be contacted prior to interview.

Hume Anglican Grammar is committed to child safety. As such, the successful applicant will be expected to satisfy child protection screening, and adhere to the School's Child Safety Policy and Staff Code of Conduct. These documents may be downloaded from the School website. All teaching staff must hold, or be immediately eligible for VIT registration.
