Our History Book a tour now

In its first ten years, Hume Anglican Grammar has witnessed progress which has been nothing short of phenomenal. This is a great testimony to the vision and passion of the community that have built this exceptional school.

Hume Anglican Grammar was established in 2008 by St Peter's Church and a group of passionate local parents who saw a need for an additional School in the area. With just 37 students in its first year, the first site was off Craigieburn Road in 2008 and by 2010 the school moved to a temporary location in Sunbury's Victoria University campus.

In Easter 2011, the school opened its doors on the Mickleham campus; so we now celebrate our sixth anniversary on Mount Ridley Rd.  In 2019 our School opened its second campus in Donnybrook and will continue to educate young people and work towards delivering a holistic, values-based, high quality education driven by professional and dedicated staff, at an accessible cost to our community.

Today our Mt Ridley campus occupies a picturesque 10 hectare site atop of Mt Ridley surrounded by new architecture as well as heritage buildings such as the Homestead and Coach House which were built in the 1850’s by Captain Pearson. Our Donnybrook campus is located within Mirvac's Olivine Estate and makes use of a creative and contemporary plan across an expansive eight-hectare site in an open, environmentally friendly space.

We are growing and each year the School has a number of capital developments underway. As we flourish, we continue to introduce more facilities on the school grounds, in the teaching space and to support our specialist programs.
